Dakota Kai won’t be anywhere near Royal Rumble weekend, as she remains stuck in concussion protocol.
PWInsider reports that the Damage CTRL star is still sidelined and will not be traveling to Indianapolis for WWE’s first major event of the year.
Kai suffered the concussion during her RAW tag team match alongside IYO SKY against Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler. While the exact moment of injury hasn’t been confirmed, it’s believed to have happened after a rough landing from a missile dropkick. WWE’s concussion protocol is strict, meaning she won’t return until she passes all required evaluations.
