Daffney’s tragic death in 2021 left a lasting impact on the wrestling world, but her daughter Jamie Lynn Senegal is making it clear she wanted no part in the Dark Side of the Ring episode focusing on her mother.

Senegal took to Twitter to reveal her decision, explaining why she chose not to participate.

“With all due respect I couldn’t be a part of this and cannot watch this. Please do my mom right. Couldn’t as in didn’t want to be and refused to partake,” Senegal wrote.

Daffney, whose real name was Shannon Spruill, was a standout performer in WCW, TNA, and various other promotions throughout her career. Her final recorded match took place on April 10, 2011, where she defeated Sammi Lane at a PWF event in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
