D-Von Dudley isn’t here for the nonsense—and he’s calling out those who twisted his words into something they were never meant to be.
On Episode 54 of Devon & The Duke, the WWE Hall of Famer finally addressed a story that had been warped by online outlets for years involving Alexa Bliss, a massage chair, and a whole lot of baseless speculation.
Back in 2020, Alexa Bliss mentioned on the Table Talk podcast that she had invited D-Von to her home to try out her new high-end massage chair. The clip resurfaced, and over time, some outlets tried to spin it into something scandalous. But according to D-Von, the full story was nothing more than two friends with a mutual respect for each other and their families.
D-Von recalled the moment, emphasizing that the situation was entirely innocent and respectful. He described a healthy friendship with Bliss and her husband, musician Ryan Cabrera, rooted in family connections—not tabloid material.
“Me and Alexa Bliss, we were very good friends. She knew my wife at the time, and my kids. They were both pregnant at the same time. We went over to her house for functions, she came to the baby shower with her husband and the baby, gave a nice gift. We hung out a couple of times, they invited us to events.”
He explained how the massage chair conversation started—and how something so harmless got turned into gossip.
“One day at work, we were talking about a massage chair she had just gotten. She said it felt like heaven, and Ryan [her husband] put it over too. She said, ‘Devon, you gotta come to the house and try it out.’ I was dropping off a gift and said, ‘Hey, where’s that chair?’ She showed me, I sat in it, and it was phenomenal.”
“I put it over on the show. She did too. But then the media twisted it and said, ‘What’s really going on between these two?’ Nothing was going on. We were friends. I knew her husband. She knew my wife. Our kids were going to play together. Totally innocent. No relationship whatsoever.”
D-Von made it clear he was hurt by how things were spun.
“I respect her. She respected me. It saddens me that the media likes to turn things around and make it as ugly as they do. It’s not right. And it's disgusting.”
There you have it—straight from D-Von himself. A friendship with shared family milestones and innocent conversations turned into tabloid fodder by people more interested in clicks than facts.
