D-Von Dudley isn’t holding back anymore—and now he’s taking direct aim at AEW President Tony Khan and QT Marshall, calling their behavior “disrespectful” and accusing them of flat-out lying about his involvement with the company.

On the Duke Loves Rasslin podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer made it clear he never agreed to produce anything in AEW and blasted the narrative that he “fell asleep” while waiting to meet Tony Khan. According to D-Von, the only thing AEW gave him was hours of wasted time and empty promises.

“Number one, you never asked me to be a producer or to produce a match. I never produced anything. The first time I showed up was in Orlando, and I was told by QT Marshall — who I can’t stand, and I don’t care if he knows it — kiss my ass, he can’t do sht about it.”*

D-Von recalled traveling to multiple cities for meetings, only to be left waiting in catering or backstage until late into the night. He described a 2–3 a.m. meeting with Tony Khan in Montreal after flying in that morning and barely getting any sleep.

“I got there at 11 in the morning and didn’t meet with him until about 2 or 3 in the morning. So yeah, you’re damn right I was probably sitting in the chair with my eyes closed. I was tired. Would you have done that to Flair? No. Would you have done it to anybody else? No. But you did it to me. So f** you, man.”*

A third meeting in Orlando brought more of the same. D-Von said he was treated “like a f***ing young boy” and waited outside Tony’s office until the early hours once again.

“You could have brought me into the office and just said, ‘Hey, Devon, this is what we have to offer.’ I could say yes or no and go home. But instead, you kept me waiting until 2 or 3 in the morning again.”

D-Von also said Tony Khan showed him a photo of himself as a teenager holding up a sign at an ECW show, professing to be a longtime fan. But that didn’t change how D-Von felt about the disrespect.

“I said I want to be a producer. I don’t want to wrestle. And he goes, ‘Maybe you could do a six-man or a tag.’ Dude, I was six months off back surgery. Why would I risk that?”

At this point, D-Von said he’s got nothing left to prove and doesn’t care what Tony or anyone at AEW thinks of him. His loyalty lies with WWE, where he’s happy with his Legends contract.

“I don’t give a damn what he thinks. I don’t work for him and he doesn’t pay me. I’m happy with WWE, with my Legends deal, with the projects I do. People say, ‘Don’t burn a bridge.’ I’m not burning a bridge. But don’t talk sht about me that isn’t true.”*

He made his stance crystal clear.

“Don’t lie and say you asked me to produce matches. You didn’t. I would’ve been happy to show what I could do. But it never happened. So don’t lie. I don’t care how much money someone has — don’t lie on me. Kiss my ass and shove that money up your ass. I don’t care.”

D-Von didn’t stop there. He doubled down on his dislike for QT Marshall and dared him to step up in person.

“And that kiss-ass you’ve got next to you — QT Marshall — he can go to hell. I wish he would approach me. I wish he would. It’ll be the last time he ever approaches me. Dumbass b***.”*

After everything he’s been through, D-Von isn’t interested in playing politics or pretending things are fine. His experience with AEW was messy, and according to him, completely avoidable.

“I’m not being bitter. I’m not being angry. Just don’t lie.”

D-Von Dudley’s truth bomb landed hard—and it doesn’t look like he’s walking this one back anytime soon.

What do you think about D-Von Dudley’s story? Do you believe AEW mishandled the situation—or was it just a breakdown in communication? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
