NXT fans won’t need to scramble for a new streaming home just yet. Despite WWE’s billion-dollar shift that brings main roster Premium Live Events to ESPN’s direct-to-consumer platform after Clash in Paris, the black-and-silver brand isn’t making that move—at least not for now.

Sean Ross Sapp confirmed during the August 25, 2025 episode of the Fightful Report podcast that WWE’s new ESPN deal went through only after Peacock gave the green light. But not everything is leaving Peacock. In fact, two key WWE properties are staying put for the time being:

“Saturday Night’s Main Event will continue on Peacock. Not on NBC. NXT PLEs will continue on Peacock for the time being.”

This means events like NXT Deadline, Halloween Havoc, and Stand & Deliver will still stream via Peacock—even as WWE’s biggest shows begin a new era under the Disney-owned ESPN umbrella.

Earlier, it was reported that NXT’s library and future PLE rights could be up for grabs, hinting that WWE may eventually shop them around or add them to the ESPN platform. For now, though, there’s no indication that NXT’s schedule or accessibility is changing.

It’s a relief for fans who’ve followed NXT’s resurgence in recent years and were unsure what WWE’s evolving streaming strategy would mean for the developmental brand.
