A surprising name may be stepping back into an AEW ring sooner than anyone expected.
Andrew Befumo Jr., better known to wrestling fans and social media audiences as Big Boom AJ of The Costco Guys, revealed that he plans to return to AEW next weekend — even though the company has not announced a match for him.
AJ shared the update in a short video posted to Instagram while answering a fan question about when he would wrestle again for the promotion. While lifting weights, the viral internet personality casually dropped the news about his upcoming appearance.
As of now, AEW has not promoted any match involving AJ on television, Ring of Honor programming, or the company’s social media channels, leaving questions about exactly what role he will play at the event.
AJ last wrestled in late December 2025 on an episode of ROH TV, where he teamed with QT Marshall to defeat The Frat House. The duo had also previously competed together on the pre-show of Full Gear in November, picking up a win over RPG Vice.
The social media personality first stepped into an AEW ring during Full Gear 2024, where he defeated QT Marshall. He returned again at the following year’s Revolution event, teaming with Mark Briscoe and Orange Cassidy in a victory over Johnny TV and the MxM Collection.
AJ also appeared at All In: Texas last July, where he joined Hologram, Tomohiro Ishii, and Kyle O’Reilly in an eight-man tag team win against Rocky Romero, Hechicero, Lance Archer, and Trent Beretta.
Outside the ring, AJ became a viral sensation alongside his son Big Justice as part of The Costco Guys, known for their energetic videos celebrating Costco favorites like double chocolate chunk cookies and chicken bakes.
Now, it appears that the internet personality is planning another AEW appearance — whether the company has formally announced it or not.
What do you think about Big Boom AJ returning to AEW at Revolution? Should AEW continue using viral personalities in matches, or should the focus stay on the core roster? Let us know your thoughts and drop your feedback in the comments.
