Cora Jade’s status for TNA Sacrifice just took a major turn. After suffering a concussion scare during her match against Jordynne Grace on the March 4 episode of WWE NXT, Jade was put into concussion protocol. Now, it looks like she’s ready to return to action.
Ringside News has learned that Jade she’s traveling to the site of the TNA Sacrifice event, which strongly suggests she’s cleared to compete. If she wasn’t medically cleared, there would be little reason for her to make the trip—unless there’s a last-minute angle planned to officially take her off the card.
Her injury initially raised concerns when Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live broke down the footage, revealing that she may have gotten hurt when she hit the turnbuckle. Alvarez noted, “The only thing I can think of is that she took a turnbuckle, and if you watch closely, she didn’t sell it like she normally does. Instead, she reacted as if it actually hurt.” He also pointed out how she struggled to execute moves properly, leading the referee to stop the match.
It was later confirmed that Jade suffered a head injury and not a knee injury, as some speculated. Even Jade herself acknowledged the scare, stating that she was “rocked for a second” but made it clear that her knee was fine.
With no official confirmation from WWE, Jade’s exact status remains a mystery. However, if she’s in town for TNA Sacrifice, it’s a strong indication that she’ll be stepping into the ring. Fans will have to wait and see if she actually competes or if an unexpected twist takes her out of the match.
What do you think about Cora Jade possibly being cleared to wrestle so soon? Do you believe she should wait longer before competing? Let us know in the comments!
