WWE had their own reason for letting Cora Jade go. As a former Superstar, Elayna Black can look back at her journey and everything she’s been through, and a lot of it is thanks to her mother.

Cora Jade is known as Elayna Black once again after her WWE release. She also revealed that where she was when that release call came to her.

During the Ariel Helwani show, Elayna Black opened up about her injury. Needless to say, this came during a time when she didn’t need it at all. She also suffered from an ectopic pregnancy that was very tough to deal with.

“One night I was booked to wrestle Lyra Valkyria, and the next night I was in the hospital. Long story short, I’ll spare you the details, I ended up in emergency surgery the night before, literally almost bleeding out because I had had an ectopic pregnancy that failed, and it exploded and left me bleeding, and I was rushed into surgery because I almost ended up bleeding out, but thank God I went, because I was thinking ‘I just need to get through this match tomorrow,’ because I knew something wasn’t right. Then I was bleeding, and I knew that I had to go to the hospital, and it was like an 11-hour wait, and then I was like ‘I can’t’ and they checked me, and they immediately rushed me into emergency surgery.”

Cora Jade said she was bummed about missing Stand & Deliver, but then she had to recover. She said that she was “mentally depressed” when she returned, the most she had been in her entire life. She didn’t know what was wrong, but she still told WWE doctors about her problem as a 23-year-old dealing with postpartum depression. So, she took some time off, and got cosmetic surgery during that period.

However, right after her comeback and a “really bad breakup,” she tore her knee. Her dog also died right before her comeback. Elayna Black also revealed that her mother really stepped up.

“My mom, I couldn’t do this without her. She was the one who drove me to my pro wrestling training. I called her and said that she needs to come here, because I can’t do it all by myself, like mentally or physically. So, she quit her job and lived with me for two months, taking care of me, and my dog, everything. I don’t know what I would have done if I didn’t have her there.”

Her mother was there for her, letting her cry when she couldn’t do things mentally. The former Cora Jade revealed that her mother was really there for her, and she also obviously sacrificed a lot to do it.

AEW could be an option for her, and she is grateful for the platform that WWE gave her. OnlyFans could be an option for her down the line as well as a big career move, because that page opened up today.

We will keep a close eye on Cora Jade, whatever she does next in her career. She certainly brings a lot to the table, and she also has a ton of life experiences already.
