After weeks of speculation, Cooper DeJean has finally addressed the internet-fueled rumors linking him to WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella—and his answer? Not exactly a confirmation.
On the February 4, 2026 episode of The Pat McAfee Show, Pat didn’t waste time tiptoeing around the rumors. With a smirk, he asked the NFL star directly about the status of his “public relationship”—clearly referencing Bella, saying, “You want to talk about your public relationship or no?”
Cooper decided to brush it off and denied having any kind of public relationship, as he said, “I don’t think I have a public relationship.” McAfee decided not to press him any further and only pointed out how it’s a topic on the internet, saying, “There you go. Let’s move along. The internet talks about it—whatever you want to do, you’ve earned it.”
It’s a vague but telling response—and one that keeps the mystery alive. Whether DeJean is dodging the question to keep things private or genuinely distancing himself from the speculation remains unclear.
This comes just days after Nikki Bella confirmed her single status when she stopped at the Philadelphia airport on February 1. Asked point-blank if she was single, Bella replied: “Yes, I am single.” But when the follow-up question came—was she dating?—Nikki gave a grin and casually added: “I’m having fun.”
The rumors originally kicked off in December when Nikki popped up at Lincoln Financial Field during an Eagles game, posted from DeJean’s locker, and later shared cozy photos with the rising NFL star. She followed it up with a video strutting in his jersey before the Eagles-Bills matchup, captioned: “Walking into Sunday like…. 🦅🔥 ‘Been there, WON that.’ 🙌🏼 #flyeaglesfly.” DeJean then dropped a heart and eagle emoji on her post, only adding fuel to the fire.
Nikki, who finalized her divorce from Artem Chigvintsev in November, hasn’t directly mentioned DeJean by name—but her actions, and that airport smirk, have kept fans talking.
So far, both sides are keeping things loose. Nikki says she’s “having fun.” Cooper says there’s no “public relationship.” Whether that means there’s a private one? That’s still up for debate.
