Speaking about the potential of Connor McGregor appearing in WWE, Ryback says if McGregor appears it will be for a one off appearance where he can cross promote his McGregor brand. He assumes that if the money is right McGregor will be more than happy to sign the deal, and he’ll more than likely be a mouthpiece instead of an in-ring competitor.
Ryback says it’s nice to see Luke Harper and Erick Rowan return to WWE programming as The Bludgeon Brothers. Those guys are both super talented and they weren’t really doing much as singles competitors, so this should help both guys. However, he doesn’t think the name is going to do them any favours. He points out that most young fans probably won’t even know what ‘bludgeon’ means, and if they do try to Google search it the pictures may not be too flattering for a PG company.
