A wild finish at AAA Guerra de Titanes saw the AAA Latin American Championship nearly stolen—until a referee reversal and a sudden restart flipped the script and gave El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. the last laugh.

Wagner defended his title against “All Ego” Ethan Page, who came in cocky, armed with gold from both WWE NXT and AAA’s tag division. The match was brutal, with Wagner nearly sealing the win after a moonsault and a sitout powerbomb. But Ethan Page had no intention of fighting fair.

Late in the match, Page turned Wagner’s mask backwards to disorient him, then drilled him in the chest with a steel wrench—completely behind the ref’s back. Tirantes, not seeing the weapon shot, counted the pinfall and awarded Page the match and the title.

That’s when Mr. Iguana immediately ran down to the ring and exposed Page’s tactics. Tirantes huddled with Iguana, heard what went down, and after a tense moment, reversed the decision—declaring Wagner was not pinned clean and restarting the match on the spot.

And this time, Wagner didn’t waste a second. Fueled by the injustice, Wagner unleashed hell on Page and hit a definitive final stretch of offense—pinning Page and officially retaining the AAA Latin American Championship.

Page tried to cheat his way to victory, but justice actually hit twice—first through the reversal, and then through Wagner finishing the job himself.
