Continental Contenders Challenge & $7,000 Match Announced for 8/6 AEW Collision

This Friday night’s episode of AEW Collision is shaping up to be another must-see event, with two big matches announced during the September 4 episode of AEW Dynamite.

The Continental Contenders Challenge will be held to determine the next challenger for AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada, also known as “The Rainmaker.”

Additionally, Orange Cassidy will take on Bryan Keith in a special $7,000 match. Cassidy agreed to this bout after Chris Jericho reminded him of a past incident where Cassidy ruined Jericho’s $7,000 jacket. If Cassidy loses to Keith, he will have to pay Jericho back the $7,000 in cash.

Also on the card, Hikaru Shida will also face off against Deonna Purrazzo.

Fans can catch this live episode of AEW Collision airing on Friday night at 8/7c. Following the show, there will be a special live episode of AEW Rampage, and immediately after that, Countdown to AEW All Out: Chicago will premiere.
