Conrad Thompson has put an end to the speculation surrounding Bruce Prichard’s absence from WWE.
Prichard, a WWE mainstay and Something to Wrestle podcast co-host, is stepping away temporarily to address family health matters. The update follows a report from Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer that Prichard was taking time off from his role as Executive Director – CWT at WWE, where he’s been a behind-the-scenes powerhouse.
Speaking on Something to Wrestle, Thompson told listeners, “I just want to address the elephant in the room. There’s been a lot of rumor and innuendo about Bruce Prichard. Just to clear it up, Bruce Prichard is still with WWE. Bruce Prichard is not quitting his podcast. But if you’re a longtime listener of this show, you know that there have been health events in the Prichard family and household, and right now, Bruce is gonna take a little bit of a leave of absence from WWE, and he’s gonna be away, taking care of what’s really important.”
For now, WWE Hall of Famer JBL has stepped in as a guest co-host for the podcast. And while there’s no set timeline for Prichard’s return, fans can rest assured he’ll be back once his family responsibilities allow. Ringside News and Something to Wrestle will keep followers updated on any new developments.
Bruce Prichard’s dedication to WWE and his personal life is clear, and fans have shown their support as he temporarily shifts his focus to his family. His absence may be felt, but it’s obvious he’s prioritizing what truly matters during this time.
