Cody Rhodes ruled the roost as the Undisputed WWE Champion and many consider him the face of WWE. However, the American Nightmare absolutely doesn’t consider himself that at all.

While speaking on First Take, Cody Rhodes made it clear doesn’t see himself as the face of the company. He said he appreciates when people call him that, but he personally doesn’t take on that label.

Instead, he views WWE as a team effort. He mentioned names like Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins as part of that strong team.

Cody Rhodes added that if he ever did officially call himself the face of the company, that might be the moment he starts to step away. For now, he prefers to see it as a group effort where everyone plays an important role.

“I really love the fact that anybody might say ‘face of the company,’ but I don’t consider it personally… I think of it more as a team. You’ve got Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins… I think the moment I actually officially call myself the face of the company is probably the time I fade out. So, I like to think it’s more of a team effort that we’re doing here.”

Cody Rhodes definitely showed a lot of humility by making it clear he doesn’t consider himself the face of WWE, despite many thinking otherwise. Regardless, fans will continue to love Rhodes no matter what and that’s never changing.
