WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 24, 2026, will be held at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. You never know what can happen, especially when tensions are high.

Jacob Fatu returned to WWE television to interrupt the Undisputed WWE Title match between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre. This cost Rhodes the title, and there was a score to settle.

Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu squared off in the first match of Saturday Night’s Main Event. This marked Fatu’s first match back in months, and it was also Cody’s first contest since losing the title.

This match didn’t even get started before there was violence. Jacob Fatu jumped Cody Rhodes during his famous entrance, and then a brawl broke out. WWE officials rushed the ring and separated them before the match could start.

Then Jacob Fatu nailed a dive off the top rope to Cody on the floor to lay out the former champion. This match never started as a brawl broke out down the entrance ramp.

The action didn’t stop even though the match didn’t start. Cody Rhodes nailed a dive on Jacob Fatu that sent him over the announce table. The whole time, WWE officials tried to separate the two.

Then they brawled in the crowd. Things were heated between the two of them, as Cody Rhodes even brought up Fatu’s prison history in the promo prior to this match. They fought all over the building, even going out in the vestibule of the arena as WWE officials pleaded for them to stop.

In the end, Drew McIntyre showed up, and he took out both men. This was a pre-emptive strike from the Undisputed WWE Champion, as he took out two of his biggest contenders.

This match never officially started, but fans certainly got a show. We will have to see what’s next for these two, but they may meet again in the Royal Rumble match in Saudi Arabia.
