Just moments after Adam Pearce dropped a major update for the April 7 episode of Monday Night RAW, WWE took things even further. In a social media post, the company officially confirmed that CM Punk will be at RAW this Monday—making his presence felt on the road to WrestleMania 41.
The tweet read: “TOMORROW NIGHT on #WWERaw @CMPunk will be in the house! 8PM ET/5PM PT @netflix ▶️ http://netflix.com/wweraw.” That’s right—CM Punk is back on RAW, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect.
Punk’s ongoing tension with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns has kept him at the center of WWE’s top storylines. With WrestleMania 41 just weeks away, fans are already speculating what Punk’s RAW appearance could lead to—and what he will do next.
This update came shortly after Adam Pearce posted his own video, confirming several huge matches and appearances. Paul Heyman will also be live on RAW. The New Day will challenge the War Raiders for the WWE Tag Team Titles. Gunther and Jey Uso are both scheduled to appear. And Penta vs. Dominik Mysterio is now official after Penta promised Dom “a belated birthday present” on Instagram.
Also on the card: Lyra Valkyria defends her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Bayley, El Grande Americano is back in action against a mystery opponent, and Seth Rollins makes his return to RAW.
With CM Punk now locked in for the show, this RAW could seriously shake up the WrestleMania picture.
