CM Punk Trashes Dominik Mysterio’s Look, Skills, and Intelligence Before Complimenting His Sister

CM Punk is never one to hold back, and he just unloaded on Dominik Mysterio in a way only he can. While speaking to Chael Sonnen & Daniel Cormier on Good Guy/Bad Guy, Punk didn’t mince words when asked if he was surprised at how much heat Dominik gets from WWE crowds.

“No. I’m actually shocked, and I don’t encourage this, but I’m shocked that people don’t throw rotten food at him, or at least toilet paper because he’s the shts,”* Punk said.

He didn’t stop there. Punk completely trashed Dominik’s look and ability in the ring. “That mustache is a choice. That haircut is a choice. Stupidity is a choice. He could read a book. He could learn how to read. He can be a better wrestler. He can learn how to run the ropes. He’s terrible. Everything about that kid, rotten to the core.”

And just when it seemed like he had nothing nice to say, Punk threw in a backhanded compliment. “He has a nice sister though,” he added.

The CM Punk vs. Dominik Mysterio saga actually goes way back—14 years to be exact—when Punk feuded with Rey Mysterio and even confronted a young Dominik in the process. Fast forward to 2024, and Punk’s first WWE match back was against Dominik at a live event, reigniting the long-standing tension.

With Punk gearing up for WrestleMania 41, it remains to be seen if he and Dominik will cross paths again. But one thing’s for sure—Punk isn’t holding back on his thoughts anytime soon.
