Saturday Night’s Main Event promises to be a night full of surprises and solid action as WWE rewinds the clock back to the 80s. Interestingly enough, CM Punk has now teased a potential role at the upcoming show as well, something that fans will particularly enjoy.

The Second City Saint was in his regular commentary role for CFFC, covering an event in Atlantic City. During his appearance, CM Punk hinted at being part of Saturday Night’s Main Event as a commentary partner for Jesse Ventura. He mentioned needing to calm himself down, suggesting the possibility of working alongside Ventura during the broadcast.

“I gotta get this out of my system. I might be doing commentary with Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura tomorrow night at Saturday Night’s Main Event. I gotta relax.”

Atlantic City is roughly three hours away from Long Island, New York, at the Nassau Coliseum, where Saturday Night’s Main Event will be taking place. Therefore, Punk can easily make the trip if he is set to sit at the commentary booth alongside Jesse Ventura. Punk has already proven he can be a great commentator, so fans are already excited to see him reprise that role on December 14th.

As for the main show itself, WWE has booked a stacked card as Cody Rhodes will be defending the WWE Undisputed Championship against Kevin Owens and GUNTHER will face Finn Balor and Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Liv Morgan will defend her Women’s World Title against IYO SKY and the finals to determine the inaugural WWE United States Women’s Champion will be held as well, while Sami Zayn takes on Drew McIntyre, so fans are guaranteed to have a great night of action.
