CM Punk doesn’t care which night of WrestleMania he headlines—because to him, it’s all the same big stage.

In his interview on No-Contest Wrestling with O’Shea Jackson Jr. and TJ Jefferson, Punk addressed the nonstop chatter about the significance of headlining Night 2 of WrestleMania versus Night 1. Fans and critics alike have often treated Night 2 as the “real main event,” using it to discredit Punk’s 2025 Night 1 spot. But Punk isn’t giving that talk any oxygen.

“Night one, night two—the argument... I currently don't feel any more pressure to perform on night two than I did night one.”

He acknowledged that the pressure might build as the show gets closer, but made it clear he doesn’t rank the nights differently.

“Maybe that'll change. I think if it does, it'll be incremental. I don't differentiate between the two.”

And just in case fans try to drag up something he said in a promo about Night 2 being more prestigious, Punk had a quick response:

“People will argue that I once said in a promo—which doesn’t make it real life, ladies and gentlemen... They’re the easiest ones to work. And they're the ones that fold their arms and go, ‘I'm not worked. You can't work me.’ I got you right here.”

For Punk, what matters is preparation and performance—whether it’s Saturday or Sunday.

“The emotions will be high. I got to prepare. I'm always like, ‘I got to get in better shape, I got to do this, I got to do that.’ But really, everything I've ever done in my career has prepared me for these moments.”

With WrestleMania 42 around the corner and his match against Roman Reigns locked in for Night 2, Punk isn’t chasing validation—he’s showing up to deliver, same as always.
