CM Punk isn’t just gearing up for WrestleMania 41—he’s also keeping one eye on Hollywood, and he’s got no problem sharing the screen with his old rival.
In a new interview with Metro UK, the former WWE Champion opened up about the acting world, his goals outside the ring, and whether he’d ever work alongside John Cena again—this time in front of the camera.
“The Netflix thing is interesting because I think they want to specifically find projects not only for me but other superstars that they feel can cross over,” Punk revealed. “I would love to do stuff with Cena. I would love to do stuff with anybody, really. I’m in it to learn. In that respect, I’m an artist. I want to do stuff that’s fulfilling.”
Cena and Punk’s legendary WWE feud defined a generation, but now with WWE’s multi-billion dollar partnership with Netflix kicking in, Punk sees acting as more than a side hustle—it’s an extension of his creativity.
Punk also recently signed with Paradigm Talent Agency, signaling that he’s serious about carving out a future in entertainment beyond pro wrestling.
As for the wrestling part? He’s far from done. CM Punk will headline night one of WrestleMania 41 in a triple threat match against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns on April 19. John Cena will headline night two the following night, challenging Cody Rhodes in what’s expected to be his final WrestleMania match.
Could their paths cross again—this time on a movie set instead of a WWE ring?
