CM Punk Says He Wishes He Could Bring Back Shaved Head

CM Punk might be on top of WWE as World Heavyweight Champion — but he’s apparently eyeing a drastic change outside the ring.

In a video tied to WWE 2K26, the cover star looked back at several of his past in-game models, reacting to different eras of his career. While reflecting on his WrestleMania 27 look, Punk zeroed in on one detail — his hair. And it sounds like he’s tempted to bring back a bold style from the past.

“Man, I wish I could shave my head again.”

That one line has already sparked chatter among fans, especially with Punk heading into the biggest stretch of the WWE calendar. Currently holding the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Punk is front and center on the road to WrestleMania 42. After Roman Reigns won the Royal Rumble in January, he chose to challenge Punk for the title at the April 18–19 Show of Shows.

Before he even gets there, Punk has another major hurdle. He’s set to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor at Elimination Chamber on February 28 — a match that could completely reshape WrestleMania plans if things don’t go his way.

Between defending his title, headlining a video game as WWE 2K26’s cover star, and potentially teasing a new look, Punk remains one of the most talked-about names in WWE right now.

A shaved-head CM Punk walking into WrestleMania 42 would definitely send a message — especially against someone like Roman Reigns.
