CM Punk absolutely loves his dog Larry and the two are truly inseparable. He always makes sure to take care of Larry and that’s why Punk has now revealed that Larry recently underwent surgery.

While speaking on Pardon My Take, CM Punk talked about how wrestlers have to keep working even when life gets hard. He said that no matter how bad a day is, once you walk through the curtain and the cameras turn on, you have to leave it all behind.

The Second City Saint revealed that his dog Larry just had surgery, so he’s driving instead of flying to keep Larry safe. He’s also making sure his wife is okay while they travel. Even with all this going on, he still has to go out, be CM Punk, and give fans his best.

Punk explained that even if “the house could be on fire,” people watching at home wouldn’t know, because the job is to perform no matter what.

“For us wrestlers, I think a lot of the time we’re probably having a bad day — but when you go through the curtain and the red light’s on, all that goes away. It’s stressful. It’s a job — a fun job, don’t get me wrong.

But like… my dog just had surgery, so I’m trying to travel with him because I don’t want to fly with him. I’ve got my wife on the road, too, and I’m making sure she’s accommodated and taken care of. I’m trying to do all this stuff — and you still have to go be CM Punk on camera. You have to be on.

The house could be on fire — people who watch you on television don’t know, because that’s the job.”

CM Punk’s openness about looking after his dog Larry and supporting his wife while still performing for WWE shows his dedication and focus. In the meantime, fans are glad Larry had a successful surgery and wish him all the best in his recovery.
