CM Punk Reacts to WWE Night of Champions Loss With Cryptic Post

CM Punk was unable to defeat John Cena at Night of Champions due to interference from Seth Rollins. Now a day removed from the match, the Second City Saint has reacted to his loss.

CM Punk took to his Instagram story and uploaded a comic panel featuring Superman looking very dejected, who said, “Perhaps, someday I will try again….but the time is not now – not yet.” This made it very clear he was talking about his loss to Cena and that it’s just not his time to go after John Cena again.

John Cena beat CM Punk at Night of Champions after Seth Rollins and the rest of his faction interfered in the match, leading to Rollins nailing Punk with the Money in the Bank briefcase. This allowed Cena to finish off Punk and successfully retain his Undisputed WWE Title.

We will have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for CM Punk as we head towards Saturday Night’s Main Event, as it’s become clear that he and Seth Rollins still have a lot of unfinished business now.
