It was the second time that night fans hijacked a match to show support for R-Truth following his release from WWE. The chants came despite a fast-paced clash between CM Punk, AJ Styles, and El Grande Americano.

After the cameras stopped rolling, CM Punk grabbed a mic and addressed the chants head-on. “How dare you sing someone’s name when they’re not here?”

Some fans laughed, suggesting Punk may have been playfully mocking how his name was chanted for nearly a decade after he walked out on WWE. But the timing—right after a night filled with crowd protests over R-Truth’s release—left plenty of room for interpretation.
