CM Punk has now shown support to Elayna Black after she announced she’d be stepping away from wrestling for the remainder of 2025.
The Second City Saint commented on Elayna Black’s Instagram post about her announcement by showing his support. He called it a hard step to take but said he’s proud of her for making that decision.
CM Punk made it clear to Black that he has her back, adding a heart emoji to his message for good measure, saying, “Hard step to take, proud of you for taking it. I got your back. ❤️”
This comes after Elayna Black announced she would be stepping away from wrestling for the rest of 2025 to focus on her mental health. She explained that she had originally recorded a 10-minute video to share her thoughts but decided to keep it brief for now.
Black said wrestling is no longer good for her mental health and that she needs to take time away to see if the love she once had for it might return. Elayna made it clear she’s taking the rest of the year to focus on herself and figure things out from there.
“I originally had a 10 minute long video explaining where my head’s at, and maybe eventually I’ll post it but seems unnecessary for now. I’ll keep it short but I am going to be taking a break from wrestling for the foreseeable future. It’s no longer good for my mental health and I’ll never know if that love for it I once had will return if I don’t step away. I’m gonna take the rest of the year to take care of me and go from there.”
Elayna Black has a great relationship with CM Punk and he’s always been there for her, so it’s no surprise he still has her back even now. We give our best to Black and hope she gets the help she needs so that she can return to pro wrestling as soon as possible.
