Dominik Mysterio had a huge moment at WrestleMania 41 Sunday when he won the Intercontinental Championship. He’s clearly on top of the world right now, but it appears that CM Punk has hinted that he could be targeting Dominik following his big title win.

While speaking to Daniel Cormier, CM Punk called Mysterio getting cheered at WrestleMania 41 an ironic reaction, saying Dominik is a little snake and a piece of garbage, but now he’s the Intercontinental Champion.

CM Punk gave Mysterio some credit, saying hats off to him, but admitted he’s unsure about what’s next for himself, and thus Punk hinted at going after Dominik Mysterio following Dominik’s Intercontinental Title win

Punk then mentioned Dominik as a potential target, saying every time he sees him, he still sees that bratty 8- or 10-year-old kid. He said that he wanted to punch him in the face back then, and now he legally can.

“It’s the ironic reaction, is what that is—because he’s a little snake, he’s a little piece of garbage. But now he’s the Intercontinental Champion. He’s the Intercontinental Champion. Well, you know, my hat’s off to him. I don’t know what’s going on with me next—maybe I’ll go after Dominik Mysterio. Man, every time I see him, I still see that little 8- or 10-year-old brat, you know what I mean? I wanted to punch him in the face when he was 10—now I get to legally.”

CM Punk and Dominik Mysterio have a lot of beef already, and fans do wonder if The Second City Saint will go after Mysterio’s title one day. In the meantime, Punk will be dealing with Paul Heyman, who betrayed him at WrestleMania 41, so we’ll have to see how it pans out for Punk.
