CM Punk Downplays Hype Surrounding Paul Heyman’s Favor

CM Punk stated that Paul Heyman owed him a big favor after he helped Roman Reigns’ team at Survivor Series: WarGames. However, Punk believes people are making too much of the favor and overhyping its importance.

While speaking to Jackie Redmond, CM Punk was asked about the favor Paul Heyman owes him. He explained that while he and Paul are good friends and likely owe each other many favors, he never knows when he might actually need to cash it in.

Punk believes that people are building up the situation too much, and it’s possible that if he ever needed a favor, like asking Paul for a ride to Raw, it would likely disappoint fans. He also mentioned that some people might think the situation is connected to someone else Paul is close with, but only time will tell.

“No, because I never know when I’m actually going to need to cash it in. Paul and I are friends, so between the two of us, we probably owe each other a lot of favors, right? I don’t know—I think everyone might be building it up a little too much.

I think the sneaking suspicion is that everyone believes it’s somehow connected to someone else that Paul is close with, but we’ll find out.”

Nonetheless, speculation continues to grow about what CM Punk really asked Paul Heyman for. Many believe that this is all leading up to a huge match between Punk and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41.
