CM Punk calls himself the Voice of the Voiceless, but some fans are questioning whether that includes young supporters after a controversial moment went down in Saudi Arabia.
Footage making the rounds online shows Punk arriving at a fan event alongside Randy Orton. As the group walked through the venue, a young fan holding a phone approached Punk, seemingly hoping for a quick photo with the former WWE Champion. But instead of stopping, Punk visibly shoved the kid away with his hand, sporting a frustrated look as he kept walking with Orton and a member of security.
The incident left plenty of fans stunned. To make things worse, reports from the same event claim Punk also told a fan to “take off that Roman Reigns shirt” during a meet-and-greet. While it’s no secret that Punk isn’t exactly on good terms with Reigns, the interaction raised more eyebrows given the public nature of the fan event.
Punk is set to face John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Night of Champions on June 28. But with this video making the rounds, some fans are now calling on Punk to explain himself.
