CM Punk Attends “Zootopia 2” Premiere in LA

CM Punk is keeping himself busy outside the ring—and now he’s officially part of Disney canon.

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion was spotted in Los Angeles on Thursday night, walking the red carpet at the world premiere of Zootopia 2 at the El Capitan Theatre. Punk has a cameo in the animated sequel, voicing a zebra named Zebro Zebraxton. He’s not alone either—Roman Reigns is also in the film, voicing Zebro Zebrowski.

Disney confirmed this week that both WWE Superstars are featured in the film, which is set for release on November 26. A brief video clip also dropped, showing Punk and Reigns behind the mic recording their parts.

The movie features an all-star cast, including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who voices a character named Zeke. Other returning voices include Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman as Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, with Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan playing the new villain, Gary De’Snake. Here’s the official synopsis for Zootopia 2:

“Rookie cops Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde find themselves on the twisting trail of a great mystery when Gary De’Snake arrives in Zootopia and turns the animal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before.”

For CM Punk, this is another major mainstream appearance as he gears up for his return to in-ring action at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29. Punk is set to lead a team featuring Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso against Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Logan Paul, with more teammates still to be revealed.
