CM Punk Appears in Trailer for SyFy’s ‘Revival’ Series

CM Punk is stepping into the world of the undead—but not quite how you’d expect.

The former WWE Champion appears in the official trailer for SyFy’s upcoming series Revival, which debuted online this week. Fans can spot Punk at around the 1:12 mark, making his presence known in what looks to be a tense, eerie role.

The show is set to premiere on Thursday, June 12 at 10 p.m. ET on SyFy, with episodes streaming on Peacock the following week.

The series isn’t your typical zombie story. Based on the best-selling Image Comics title by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton, Revival explores a rural Wisconsin town where the dead mysteriously return to life—but they look and act just like they did before. No decay, no mindless wandering—just people who were dead, back among the living.

The story follows Officer Dana Cypress, a single mother tasked with solving a brutal murder in a town suddenly overrun by revived corpses. As fear spreads and no one can tell who to trust—dead or alive—everyone becomes a suspect.

Revival is created by Aaron B. Koontz and Luke Boyce, who also serve as executive producers. The producing team includes Lance Samuels, Daniel Iron, Samantha Levine, Neil Tabatznik, Daniel March, Melanie Scrofano, Greg Hemmings, Stephen Foster, and Amanda Row.

CM Punk’s involvement adds serious intrigue, especially after his recent resurgence in WWE. With his acting career continuing to expand, this role could open even more doors for the Straight Edge Superstar.
