The final segment for the March 13 episode of WWE SmackDown may have already been revealed.

According to a report from BodySlam.net, the Undisputed WWE Championship contract signing between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton is currently planned to close the show.

The segment will finalize their championship match scheduled for WrestleMania 42, which takes place April 18–19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Contract signings in WWE rarely end quietly, and with Rhodes and Orton both looking to make a statement heading into WrestleMania, the closing segment could easily erupt into chaos.

Rhodes regained the Undisputed WWE Championship earlier this month after defeating Drew McIntyre on SmackDown, a moment that quickly sparked massive discussion across the wrestling world.

Orton, meanwhile, earned his title opportunity after winning the 2026 Men’s Elimination Chamber match, setting up one of the most anticipated championship clashes heading into WrestleMania weekend.

Friday’s SmackDown in Phoenix will feature several other matches and segments as well. The updated lineup currently includes:

  • Nia Jax & Lash Legend vs Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships
  • Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga vs Uncle Howdy & Erick Rowan
  • Jade Cargill vs Michin
  • Miz TV with Jelly Roll as the special guest
  • Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton contract signing for the Undisputed WWE Championship (reportedly closing the show)

With WrestleMania 42 approaching quickly, the contract signing between Rhodes and Orton could provide a major final moment to end the night.
