AEW has officially locked in its closing match for tonight’s February 18 episode of Dynamite — and it’s a major one.

Just before the show went live, AEW President Tony Khan jumped on social media with a live video rundown of the card. During the stream, Khan confirmed that Kenny Omega vs. Swerve Strickland will serve as the main event for tonight’s broadcast.

The announcement puts two of AEW’s biggest names in the final spotlight position of the night, solidifying Omega vs. Strickland as the closing match on an already stacked show.

Earlier in the day, AEW added a late Continental Title Eliminator match between Jon Moxley and Mark Davis, but despite that high-stakes addition, it will be Omega and Swerve closing the show.

February 18 AEW Dynamite lineup now includes:

  • MJF and Hangman Adam Page face-to-face
  • Kenny Omega vs. Swerve Strickland (Main Event)
  • AEW TBS Championship: Willow Nightingale (c) vs. Megan Bayne vs. Marina Shafir vs. Mina Shirakawa
  • The Brawling Birds debut
  • Jon Moxley vs. Mark Davis – AEW Continental Title Eliminator

Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of tonight’s show over in our AEW Dynamite coverage hub.

Do you think Kenny Omega vs. Swerve Strickland is the right call to close AEW Dynamite tonight, or should Jon Moxley’s Continental Title Eliminator have taken that spot? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
