AEW brought another episode of their show from Boston this week. They filled the MGM Music Hall Fenway for the April 16 episode of Dynamite, and they went back for a special Thursday episode of Collision for Spring Break-Thru.

Adam Cole winning the TNT Title finished a great story for him in AEW. This week on a special Collision during Collision, he faced a mystery opponent. Fans didn’t know what to expect, but it was anyone’s guess.

Cole came out for his open challenge after Trent Beretta returned in shocking fashion. Fans didn’t know who to expect, but they were about to find out.

Fans in the building were shocked when the Death Riders’ music started playing. Then Claudio Castagnoli came out through the crowd. He was all alone, and this came one night after the stable lost the trios titles.

The two wrestled all over the ringside area and the ring itself. Fans in Boston were chanting “holy sh*t” as they carried on. The two fought through a commercial break, and fans were chanting for both competitors.

This goes without saying, but there were a ton of near falls in this match. At one point, Claudio cut his arm, but that wasn’t enough to keep the big Swiss man down. In the end, Claudio nailed a giant superplex and then Cole rolled him up for a pinfall. This was a tough win for Cole, as he did win on the skin of his teeth on Collision.

After the match was over, Claudio destroyed the announcers’ area in a giant temper tantrum. Fans chanted “loser” at him, and he kept going until everything was destroyed. Obviously, he didn’t take the loss well.
