About CJ Perry

CJ Perry, widely recognized by her ring name Lana in WWE, is a multifaceted entertainer known for her roles as a professional wrestler, manager, actress, dancer, and model. Born on March 24, 1985, in Gainesville, Florida, Perry spent much of her early life in Latvia, where she trained in classical ballet before moving back to the United States to pursue a career in entertainment.

Perry’s wrestling career began when she signed with WWE in 2013, quickly making a name for herself as the charismatic and commanding manager of Rusev (now Miro in AEW). Portraying a character with a strong Russian persona, she was pivotal in Rusev’s portrayal as a dominant competitor, utilizing her excellent mic skills and stage presence to enhance their storylines and interactions with audiences.

While primarily known for her managerial role, CJ Perry also competed as a wrestler. Her in-ring career featured several storylines that showcased her growth as a performer, including participating in championship matches and key story arcs. Her character evolved from a strict, no-nonsense manager to a more nuanced and resilient figure, earning the affection and support of fans.
