California wildfires have devastated Los Angeles County, burning over 20,000 acres and forcing thousands of people to evacuate. Many in the wrestling community have already left Los Angeles, but CJ Perry remains in the city as she revealed that she is staying due to an important medical procedure she is undergoing.
CJ Perry took to her Instagram and thanked everyone who reached out to her. She reassured her followers that she is safe and currently in the middle of an important medical procedure in Los Angeles, so she can’t leave. She mentioned that she has been volunteering for the past three days and stated that Los Angeles needs all the help it can get, especially with the winds picking up again and expected to be very strong in the next few days.
Perry also shared that they have been told to water their homes and yards to prepare for potential arson and fast-spreading fires. CJ Perry asked for prayers for her medical procedure, her safety, and her dogs, sharing gratitude for the thoughts and prayers from people around the world.
“Thank you to everyone who reached out to me ! I am safe ❤️ I am in the middle of a very important medical procedure and can’t leave Los Angeles. I have been volunteering the past 3 days ! We need all the help we can get in Los Angeles! The winds are picking up again ! And are supposed to be very bad the next 3 days ! We have been told to water our houses and yards to prepare against Arson and fires speeding. Please be praying for my medical procedure as well that I will be safe with my dogs and everything goes well. I love all you so much and am so thankful for each and every single one of you all around the globe, your thoughts and prayers matter and make a difference.”
As wildfires keep threatening communities, Perry’s choice to volunteer and ask for support shows how important community is during these difficult times. Her honesty about what she’s going through also shows the strength many people in Los Angeles are showing during the crisis and fans are simply glad to know she is safe.
