CM Punk’s viral championship photo caught plenty of attention online, and CJ Perry had a very clear reaction when the moment came up during TMZ’s Inside the Ring.

While discussing recent WWE moments, the conversation shifted to a photo Punk posted where he posed with championship belts across his body. The image quickly circulated across social media and sparked conversation among fans. When the topic was brought up, Perry immediately reacted with enthusiasm and said she loved the bold promotion.

“I love it. I love it. Oh my god, I love that.”

Perry then explained why she believes moments like that still work so well in professional wrestling, pointing out that provocative or attention-grabbing visuals have always played a role in entertainment.

“So much shows you that sex sells no matter what age you are and what gender you are.”

Her comments suggested that Punk clearly understands how to generate conversation and draw eyes to whatever he’s doing, something she believes has always been one of his strengths. Perry went on to praise Punk’s ability to promote himself and the business, placing him among wrestling’s most effective personalities when it comes to building interest.

“This is the thing is CM Punk sells tickets. CM Punk is one of the greatest promoters of all time with John Cena.”

She also noted that creating viral moments online is simply part of how wrestlers stay relevant today, and joked that she tries to encourage her husband Rusev to take a similar approach to promotion.

“So what better way to promote… like Miro says, promote, promote, promote. I’m always telling him, Rusev, promote, promote, promote.”

The conversation ended with Perry laughing about the idea of Rusev posting something similar himself.

“Oh my god, I would love it. I’ve tried to push these things on Joseph all the time, but he doesn’t like these ideas always.”

Punk’s photo may have surprised some fans, but Perry’s reaction makes it clear she believes the veteran star knows exactly how to get people talking.
