CJ Perry just crossed a major goal off her list — she officially performed her first-ever stand-up comedy show.

After talking about her plans to try comedy, Perry took the stage at The Comedy Chateau in Los Angeles for her first live set. The appearance confirmed that she followed through on her promise to step into stand-up after taking comedy classes and preparing for the moment.

She didn’t do it alone, either. Miro was there in person to support her and shared his reaction on Instagram Stories after the show. The post showed the couple as they celebrated Perry getting through her first performance. Miro made it clear he was proud of her for stepping out of her comfort zone and trying something completely new.

“So proud of you @thecjperry!! First stand up show & you CRUSHEDD IT.”

Perry had previously talked about being nervous but excited to try stand-up, and now that the first show is done, it’s clear she’s serious about making comedy part of her next chapter. Getting through that first live performance is a big step, especially in front of a live crowd.

With her first stand-up show now behind her and support from Miro, it’ll be interesting to see if she keeps booking more shows or takes her comedy even further.

What did you think about CJ Perry stepping into stand-up comedy — would you check out one of her shows if she performs again? Let us know your thoughts and leave your feedback.
