Cibernetico is setting the record straight after fans assumed he had signed with WWE—just because he got a shirt on WWEShop.

The longtime AAA star, who competed at TripleMania XXXIII in the Copa Bardahl Battle Royal, spoke on his podcast Taverna del Pecado with Potro de Acero and made it clear: he is not under contract with WWE.

“There were t-shirts for El Mesías, la Pimpi (Pimpinela Escarlata) and even mine now on WWEShop, and many thought that meant I was under contract. No dude, don’t get ahead of yourselves. Those are deals done and stuff that gets done little by little, but having a t-shirt does not mean we have a contract.”

Cibernetico didn’t hold back when addressing fans who jumped the gun with their assumptions.

“Same thing with the Alberto stuff. Some were saying ‘erm, he met with Triple H and he has a contract again.’ Y’all are dumbasses or what? Y’all got shit in the fucking head or what? Wait a little bit to see what happens. If it has to be 3 weeks or a month, y’all have to wait.”

While talking about his return at TripleMania XXXIII, Cibernetico also thanked AAA’s Dorian Roldan for making it happen, despite the fact that he and Faby Apache weren’t under contract at the time.

“Because the only ones who didn’t have a contract were Faby Apache and me, and, honestly, I am grateful for being present in this last Triplemania… I think that was no longer in Dorian’s hands. All the fights they brought out here were already made and structured by the new regime.”

He also addressed the confusion around his entrance music, revealing WWE’s influence on AAA created a weird moment for him on the show.

“I don’t know what ugly music they gave me. I know Metallica has copyright issues with WWE, but it was weird. But anyway, when people saw the name, they also got excited and that was appreciated.”

Despite speculation and merch deals, Cibernetico is still operating independently and isn’t tied to WWE—yet.

Do you think WWE will eventually bring Cibernetico in officially? Or is this just merch business as usual? Drop your take in the comments and let us know what you think.
