Chris Jericho is officially back in AEW, and he made his return in the middle of a major segment on Dynamite.
During the April 1 episode of AEW Dynamite, Tony Schiavone was already in the ring getting ready for the contract signing between MJF and Kenny Omega for their AEW Dynasty match. Before either man could make their entrance, Jericho suddenly appeared and walked out to a huge reaction from the crowd.
Fans erupted as soon as Jericho came out, and the cheers continued for several minutes while he stood in the ring and took in the moment. The contract signing was put on hold as the focus shifted entirely to Jericho’s unexpected return after being away from AEW television since April 2025. After letting the crowd react, Jericho finally spoke and delivered a short message that confirmed his comeback.
“AEW I'm home.”
That statement ended the segment, making it clear that Jericho is back and ready to be part of the action again. His return comes at a key time, especially with AEW Dynasty coming up and several major storylines already building momentum.
Jericho’s comeback had been rumored in recent weeks, but now it’s official. With him back on AEW television, attention now turns to what his next move will be and who he might target first.
