Chris Jericho might be done with Ring of Honor—again.

After dropping the ROH World Championship at AEW Dynasty, Jericho told fans he was “going away.” While it’s unclear whether he’s disappearing from AEW television entirely, sources close to the situation tell us that Jericho is “expected to largely move on from Ring of Honor” once his current feud with Bandido wraps up.

According to internal plans via Fightful Select, this recent ROH run was always designed to be temporary. Jericho is set to head back out with Fozzy for another tour, but with only one Wednesday date on the calendar, he could still make AEW Dynamite appearances if needed. So don’t rule out seeing “The Ocho” pop back up—just don’t expect it under the ROH banner.

As for Bandido, the writing’s been on the wall for a while. Sources say “AEW/ROH had remained steadfast in that he would be champion and lead the brand,” despite multiple setbacks. Those included injury delays and the idea that a planned mask vs. title match could’ve pushed his coronation back even further. But in the end, the company stuck to their vision—and Bandido’s finally got the ROH gold around his waist.

Jericho’s time with Ring of Honor helped give the brand a bit more visibility during its post-AEW acquisition phase, but it looks like that chapter’s officially closing.
