Chris Jericho Addresses Britt Baker Exit Rumors Amid AEW Television Absence

Britt Baker has been a major topic of discussion lately, largely due to backstage drama in AEW and rumors suggesting she might be leaving the promotion for good. In response to these speculations, Chris Jericho recently addressed the rumors.

While speaking to The Takedown on SI, Chris Jericho was asked about rumors of Britt Baker’s status in AEW and whether she is leaving the company. Jericho said he hasn’t heard anything for sure, but he thinks Britt is very important to the company.

Jericho pointed out that she was one of AEW’s first stars and always does a great job in the ring. He doesn’t think she’s going anywhere and is looking forward to her coming back. He also mentioned that Britt has a strong character, a big presence, and a loyal fanbase both in AEW and in wrestling overall.

“I haven’t really heard either way but I know she’s obviously a very valuable part of the company. She’s one of the OGs, probably one of our first homegrown stars, and I think she does a great job whenever she’s in the ring. So, I don’t see her leaving or going anywhere, and I’m looking forward to having her come back on the show because she has a great character and a great presence and once again a great fan base within AEW and within the wrestling world.”

Britt Baker has not appeared on AEW since the November 13th episode of AEW Dynamite, meaning it’s been over two months without any signs of her returning to AEW TV soon. While there have been reports about backstage issues, it’s said that these have been blown out of proportion. However, that doesn’t mean she will be back with the company anytime soon. Only time will tell when the “doctor” will make her big return but Jericho is certainly confident she will be back no matter what.
