During a conversation on Talk Is Jericho with Chris Jericho, Chris Hero (formerly known as Kassius Ohno) discussed various topics, including his return to WWE NXT in 2017.

Hero revealed that when he initially returned to WWE in January 2017, he was under the impression that he would be using his real name, Chris Hero, rather than his previous wrestling persona, Kassius Ohno.

Hero expressed his surprise when he was informed at the last moment that he would be reverting to the Kassius Ohno character.

“I started back in January 2017 and then I didn’t know until I was going out to make an appearance for the live crowd that I was going to be Kassius Ohno again. I thought I would be Chris Hero and they’re like, ‘Nope! You’re Kassius Ohno.’ I was like, well sh*t.”
