Chelsea Green just reignited her Fairmont Hotel drama with an update that flips the script on a story she thought was resolved.

Over a year after publicly revealing she was mistaken for an escort by hotel security at The Plaza in New York, Green says Fairmont is now walking back the apology and compensation offer they made after the scandal.

On October 21, 2025, Green quote-tweeted her original post from April 3, 2024—where she had accepted a verbal apology and reported being offered a two-night stay by the hotel—as a gesture of goodwill. But now, things have apparently changed.

“Remember this? @FairmontHotels offered me a two night stay anywhere… after calling me an escort lol. Now they’re taking it back. 🤣”

She followed up with another tweet adding, “You just can’t make this sh!t up… @FairmontHotels 😅” Attached to that post was a screenshot of an email from Andrea Escobar, Executive Assistant at The Plaza, seemingly confirming Fairmont’s reversal. In the message, the hotel states the certificate was issued by Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver, is non-transferable, and has now expired.

“Regrettably, we are unable to change the location of the certificate as this was honored by our sister Fairmont, Pacific Rim in Vancouver, and it is non-transferable. In addition, I regret to inform you that the validity of this certificate has since expired as it is valid within 12 months of issued date.”

The email lands like a slap in the face, considering the emotional toll of the original incident where Green claimed security guards wrongly profiled her after a WWE RAW event at Barclays Center. She previously described the ordeal as something out of Pretty Woman, joking at the time that she’d just book a different hotel for WrestleMania weekend. Still, Green had taken the high road after receiving a personal apology from the General Manager. In April, she wrote:

“Just had a really positive conversation with the GM of @FairmontHotels plaza. All I ever wanted was an apology… and that’s exactly what I got. Humility & Humbleness are everything ♥️.”

Now, with the hotel rescinding its offer and blaming expiration terms and regional logistics, Green’s original apology may feel more performative than sincere.
