Chelsea Green isn’t just injured—she’s putting a broken nose to work. After taking a stiff 619 from Zelina Vega at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Green returned to WWE SmackDown on May 30 with a flashy new look: a red-and-green glitter mask that looked more fashion show than medical necessity.

The injury came during her match with Vega, where Green took the 619 flush to the face, followed by a Code Red from the top rope for the loss. She bled mid-match, but didn’t let that stop her. Instead of heading to the back quietly, she immediately began filming backstage content. WWE sources were impressed, with one source telling Fightful Select, “Green lost the match, broke her nose… and promptly went backstage to film content for WWE.”

Doctors confirmed it was a clean break, and while many assumed she’d take time off, Green did the opposite. She stormed into Nick Aldis’ office on SmackDown—fully masked—and demanded that Zelina Vega be stripped of her title. Dressed in a shiny pink dress and flanked by her suited-up entourage, Green made sure no one missed her return.

The mask itself? A rhinestone-covered half-face statement piece split down the middle in red, yellow and green. It’s less “protective gear” and more “supervillain chic,” perfectly tailored to her dramatic persona.

Nick Aldis, never short on sarcasm, took one look at the mask and fired back with, “You’re finally getting ugly.” Then, instead of entertaining her request, he announced Alba Fyre as Zelina’s next challenger, brushing off Green’s demands without a second thought.

Dave Meltzer also confirmed the injury in his Wrestling Observer Daily Update, stating, “Chelsea Green suffered a broken nose from the 619 by Zelina Vega. I don’t expect her off TV at all. It was a clean break.”

Chelsea Green has made a career out of being loud, flashy, and hard to ignore. Now, with a rhinestone mask and a reason to be furious, she might be even more dangerous—and entertaining—than ever.
