Chelsea Green became an expert when it comes to surpassing all expectations with what she’s given in WWE. This includes her current faction, the Secret Hervice and now Green has revealed scrapped plans for the faction.
While speaking on the Lightweights podcast, Chelsea Green talked about her faction and how it came together. Green revealed that she and Piper Niven planned on having Blair Davenport join the faction.
However, Davenport was then released, and it was a bummer for Green. After that, Chelsea and Piper Niven thought maybe they would just stay a tag team instead of forming a full group.
“When we were talking about a third, at first it was going to be Blair Davenport, and when Blair was released, it was obviously a bummer moment. Man, maybe we’re not gonna be a faction—maybe we’ll just be a tag team.”
Eventually, they came up with the idea to bring in Alba Fyre. Green noted that Fyre is Piper’s best friend from Scotland, and all three of them lived together in Japan when they worked in STARDOM. Chelsea said they’ve known each other for a long time, get along well, and understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses. She said it’s been a fun experience working with them.
“Then we had the idea like, what if we could convince them to get Kay Lee, Alba Fyre. Because Kay Lee is Piper’s best friend from Scotland from years of working together. She also lived with us in Japan—the three of us lived together in Japan since we worked in STARDOM. So the three of us have history, we have a relationship, we mesh well, we know each other’s quirks and downfalls too, so we can work around those. So it’s been fun.”
Albe Fyre joined the faction back in March this year and since then, the three have been inseparable and fans have been invested in everything they do. While fans feel it’s a shame Davenport didn’t join the faction, things ultimately worked out for the best and that’s what matters in the end.
What do you think of the Secret Hervice’s journey so far? Would Blair Davenport have changed the dynamic, or do you think Alba Fyre was the perfect choice? Sound off in the comments.
