Chelsea Green recently put pen to paper for the long term—and now the timeline is public.
While WWE fans already suspected Green had re-signed, the real news came when she confirmed the exact duration of her deal during a guest appearance on Notsam Wrestling Live. Green revealed she is locked into WWE for five more years, backing up a report that surfaced in October 2025. And in true Chelsea Green fashion, she confirmed it with sarcasm instead of ceremony.
After host Sam Roberts pointed out that she has her own music, gear, and entrance presentation, Green fired back with a tongue-in-cheek response that immediately grabbed attention.
“And yet, she doesn’t know how to wrestle. And how good is that? I just signed five more years and I suck at wrestling and I love that for me.”
The line was played for laughs, but the message underneath was serious. Green isn’t just staying—she’s secured her place in WWE through 2028 and beyond, making her one of the more quietly stable names on the roster. This confirmation adds clarity to comments she made earlier on the GabbyAF podcast, where she casually mentioned re-signing without revealing any details. At the time, Green also explained that while she may not always have a defined storyline, she feels comfortable in her role and how WWE uses her.
“I just re-signed. Oh, yay. Thank you. I’m so happy here. And I’m okay to take a moment and fill my days and my weeks with like media and traveling to represent WWE as more of like the face.”
She also acknowledged that even without a locked-in creative direction, her workload hasn’t slowed down. For Green, longevity matters more than wins or title counts.
“I love being on TV every week… and that’s so ridiculous because I am currently on SmackDown, NXT, and Triple A in one week. So, I am still busy—even though I don’t necessarily have a direction.”
“It’s not always about winning… I know what I bring to this company. I know they can trust me with anything.”
Green is coming off her second reign as WWE United States Champion, which ended on the January 2 episode of Friday Night SmackDown when she lost the title to Giulia. That reign lasted 56 days. She is also currently one-half of the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions alongside Ethan Page.
With a five-year WWE contract now confirmed, Chelsea Green’s future is no longer a question mark. She’s locked in, comfortable, and clearly confident in where she stands—even if she jokes about it.
