Chelsea Green was stunned when WWE: Unreal showed a behind-the-scenes pitch of her winning the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble—and she wishes the footage never made it to air.

During her interview with Chris Van Vliet, Green reacted to the viral scene where WWE SVP of Creative Writing Ed Koskey suggested her as the Rumble winner. But instead of celebrating, Green admitted the clip made her uneasy—and maybe even doomed the idea.

“God bless Ed. I wish he never said it. I wish it never aired, because now it won’t happen, that’s my thought,” she said bluntly.

For Green, seeing the pitch play out on Netflix was a complete surprise. The superstars featured in WWE: Unreal weren’t told what was going to be shown, and this one hit a little too close to home.

“When I watched it, I didn’t know that. Everything that you saw in Unreal, we’re not told these things,” she explained.

Despite loving the idea of a comedic heel winning the Rumble, Green now fears it may have been spoiled just by being broadcast.

“Is it now we have to wait at least five years for it to happen, and who knows where I’ll be in five years?”

Still, she believes someone needs to fill that spot—even if it’s not her.

“If not on me, we need a Carmella to come back and do that. You know what I mean? Somebody with some spice, a Billie Kay, someone funny, who really would take that.”

Green’s frustration reveals just how fragile creative momentum can be in WWE—one leaked pitch, even unintentionally aired, can shift the entire trajectory.

Do you think WWE will still go through with Chelsea Green’s Rumble push, or did the Unreal clip ruin the surprise? Sound off in the comments and let us know if she still deserves the spotlight.
