Chelsea Green is proud of her championships—but if you ask her what really makes her light up, it’s not the gold. It’s the glitter. Specifically, her sparkly hat that finally dropped on WWE Shop after a three-year fight to get it there.

In her interview with Unlikely, Green opened up about what went into getting her now-signature hat approved, produced, and sold. Unlike title belts, which are awarded through creative decisions, this merch was a Chelsea Green original—from concept to execution. And she’s not shy about calling it her proudest moment in the company.

“Oh, it was pitched, honey. It was for the past three years. Every Friday, I pitched that hat. Every single Friday, I found out who to pitch it to. Then I found out who the buyers were. Then I found out where they were buying. Then I found out why they couldn’t get the hats made. Then I found out how to make the hats more of a reasonable price for my fans. Like I have literally been along for the entire ride of these hats. That’s why it means so much to me to put them out.”

She explained that while title wins are obviously meaningful, this hat was different—because she made it happen, and no one handed it to her.

“I’m not joking when I say that that might be the best accomplishment I have in WWE or in my wrestling career because at the end of the day, I made that happen. These [championships] I didn’t make happen necessarily. I worked my ass off, but at the end of the day, someone decides these things, right? Like that hat—I did everything to make sure that hat went on sale. And it went on sale for $34.99 and it went on sale this year. I’m so proud of it. I’m so proud of it because I know that little girls and boys are going to go up, they’re going to look at that wall of merch and they’re going to see that sparkly hat and they’re going to choose that over a Yeet shirt, dude.”

Chelsea didn’t just pitch the product—she followed the entire pipeline from sourcing to pricing. And she made sure it wasn’t just for show—it had to be affordable and accessible for her fans.

This wasn’t just another piece of merch. For Chelsea Green, this was a statement of ownership, empowerment, and individuality—and it proves she’s not just performing in the ring, she’s hustling behind the scenes too.

Would you buy Chelsea Green’s hat over a Yeet shirt? Should more WWE Superstars take control of their own merch like this? Let us know in the comments.
