Chelsea Green is breaking the usual WWE script and keeping it brutally honest.

During a recent appearance on the Lightweights podcast, the former WWE Women’s United States Champion got real about her title loss, fan reaction, and why she’s not in a rush to dive right back into another feud for the belt.

While reflecting on her recent run, Green questioned whether she even has “unfinished business” with the title, and admitted she’s not interested in dragging out storylines that fans are already checked out on.

“I haven’t figured that out yet. I haven’t decided like, are we done? I don’t ever want to do things ad nauseam. And I feel like with the title, it’s very easy to stick to the same feuds.”

Green didn’t stop there. She directly addressed fan fatigue and called out one of her most recent rivalries.

“You know, the fans saw me and Michin go at it for just—I think—a little too long. And I think they’re done with me and Zelina. And I don’t want to push it.”

In a rare moment of title-conscious self-awareness, Green said she’s more concerned about the future of the championship than forcing herself back into the spotlight.

“I don’t want them to get bored of that championship, you know? I want them to feel excited for what’s to come with the title.”

For a current WWE star to openly admit that the audience has lost interest in a feud—and that she’s aware of overstaying her welcome—isn’t just unexpected, it’s rare. Most are taught to keep storylines over and always stay in the chase. Chelsea’s response? Protect the belt’s value over her own booking.
