Chavo Guerrero is officially back with WWE—and he’s not just making appearances.
In a new interview with Bill Apter, Guerrero confirmed that he’s re-signed with WWE and is now working behind the scenes to help produce upcoming AAA shows, following WWE’s historic partnership with the Mexican promotion.
“Yeah, I just re-signed with WWE. I’m helping out with their AAA shows and putting things together. I’m back with them.”
This confirmation ends months of speculation after Guerrero was spotted in the crowd during the WWE x AAA: Worlds Collide Premium Live Event earlier this year in June. Fans immediately questioned whether the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion was involved with the company again—and now we have the answer.
Chavo has kept himself active across the wrestling industry over the past year, working with AAA, TNA, GCW, and other independent promotions. He’s also kept a foot in the entertainment world, working on various film and television projects. His return to WWE marks a significant move, especially as the company expands its global presence through its newly formed collaboration with AAA.
The partnership between WWE and AAA already feels like a cultural milestone—and with Chavo Guerrero involved in producing future events, expect storytelling that blends American wrestling structure with authentic Lucha Libre roots.
